Founder and full-stack developer. He found his passion for software studying Software Development at CUT, and joined Veritas at Kovsies for the student life. Networking: NQF 6, MCSA, CCNA, CCNP.
Dijon Pienaar, aerial and data.
Born and raised in Hartswater, always called a dreamer for the angles he finds on a problem. He was at Kovsies at the same time as Jaundre; they never met back then.
Then, Olive Sketchpad.
Our roads came together where our interests met, and we began Olive Sketchpad: one studio, with both of us on every project.

Hartswater sits in the middle of South Africa's largest irrigation scheme: 1,176 km of canals, dug largely by hand from 1934. From here we work across the Northern Cape, and online anywhere in the country.

Based in Hartswater, Northern Cape. In person in Hartswater, Jan Kempdorp, Warrenton, Kimberley, Barkly West, Kuruman and Upington, and online anywhere in South Africa.
Questions people ask first
- Who will I actually work with?
- The two founders: Jaundre on apps and websites, Dijon on drone work, video, 3D and data. There are no account managers in between.
- Do you outsource any of the work?
- No. Design, code, filming, editing and 3D are all done by us, and we look after the hosting for what we build.
- How does a project start?
- With a conversation about what you need. Then a proposal sets out the scope, the timeline and the investment before any work begins.
- Who flies the drone?
- Dijon does. He trained in Cape Town for his SACAA Remote Pilot Licence (RPL), then went back for a beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) rating, for drone work in the security sector. He also holds an operator certificate (ROC).
- Do you only work in the Northern Cape?
- We're based in Hartswater and work in person from Jan Kempdorp to Upington, and online with clients anywhere in South Africa.
